As of June 2023, polygons or target areas of 21.8 million hectares had been covered in 227 Rainfall Stimulation flights and 100% of them had been evaluated as successful by the Mexican Federal Government. The polygon to cover was identified by:

1. Significant drought in the country’s main crop areas;
2. Areas whose dams to be filled were essential to the region’s water supply;
3. Because it is a fire zone.
